Fuel combustion and handling is one of Nordtec international’s key focus areas in boiler engineering. For a variety of fuels, we offer the following types of combustion solutions
Travelling Grate:

Reciprocating Grate:
Cogent is India’s first and premier manufacturer of the reciprocating grate. This grate is applies both the heap burning as well as spreader principles. This grate is ideally suited for burning high moisture moderate ash fuels like biomass, bagasse, concentrated spent wash, municipal waste etc. Reciprocating grate boilers are known for low fuel combustion, higher turndown ratios, low wear and tear of pressure parts and versatile fuel characteristics.
Atmospheric fluidized bed:
Offered with high ash fuels like rice husk, coal etc., these boilers are known for their high thermal efficiency. Fuel in these boilers is burnt on an over-bed or under-bed principle.
Bagasse fired dumping grate boilers:
Dumping grates are ideal for burning low ash fuels like bagasse. These grates involve low maintenance and high heat release rates.
We are oriented in giving a client an end to end solution for construction of entire power plants. The capacities handled by our group, varies from 250 kW to 10 MW. We handle power generation in back-pressure as well as condensing modes.
